A possessive World

We have a possessive world we think whatever we buy or have is ours. We’re forgetting who blesses us with those things. He can take it all away. So in a way it’s all a loan. So why do we get all uptight and upset when someone wants to borrow or use one our stuff? He didn’t bless us so we can be greedy or stingy with them. We are meant to share and pass the blessing on. That includes our family and friends. We are meant to take good care of whatever He decides to bless us with at the moment. We shouldn’t be clinging onto anything or anyone too much. That would be awful too close to worshiping that isn’t Him. That’s also not very healthy for us in any way or shape. We should be willing to give whatever we have freely to others.  Sometimes what we’re blessed with is meant to give to someone else who needs it more than we do. That’s the ultimate reward is blessing others and watching them smile; to me that’s so gratifying and fulfilling. Even if it’s something as small as hug or smile to someone who needs it. So are we ready to let go and bless the world? I know I am.
